ELHAM FARMERS' MARKET:
Posted by editor on Dec 07, 2009 - 10:40 PM
Repeat: on Sun on every months
Description
Elham Farmers’ Market has been running since June 2008. It provides locally produced food to residents and visitors for the benefit of consumers and producers. The market is a popular place for shoppers to meet, to buy quality, local food at fair prices and meet the producers. It helps the environment by reducing food miles and encourages healthy eating by making fresh, high-quality food available in season and at realistic prices.

The market takes place every second and fourth Sunday of the month in the courtyard of the Rose and Crown pub in the centre of the village, from 10am to 12pm.

The farmers, growers or producers attending Elham Farmers’ Market come from a defined local area; they or someone directly involved in the production have to be present in person to sell their own produce, direct to the public. Priority is given to the most local producers. All products sold should have been grown, reared, caught, brewed, pickled, baked, smoked or processed by the stallholder.

Market dates and times:

From 10 to 12pm on Sunday December 13th, January 10th and 24th, February 14th and 28th
