70th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain concert in Hawkinge

A 70th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain concert is being held at the Hawkinge Community Centre next month.

There will be an evening of songs with Ashik, Resident DJ Roger and the popular 'New Forces Sweetheart' Kas.

 

The Centre has a Licensed Bar

 

In the summer of 1940, probably one of the most important battles of The Second World War was fought by Britain's brave pilots; some of which was in the skies above the Community Centre where the Hawkinge Aerodrome once stood.

 

The Concert is being held on Saturday 11 September 2010

Doors open at 7.00pm for 7.30pm start

Admission is £10
