Whitfield Hill in Dover was closed for more than three hours on Saturday afternoon (28 January 2012) after a car and bus collided.
 

Four women passengers were on the single-decker bus and three had to be taken to hospital as a precaution to be treated for minor injuries.

The 18-year-old man driving the Vauxhall Astra was treated at the scene by ambulance staff.

Police were called to the collision at 11am. The bus left the road following the collision and ended up stuck in an embankment.

The road was closed to allow emergency services to work at the scene and for the bus to be recovered from the bank.

It was re-opened at 3pm.
