Visitors to Port Lympne Wild Animal Park this January can find out why animals habitat is disappearing all over the world from rainforests to savannahs and what this means for the animals themselves.

January’s theme is Where’s My House and visitors will be encouraged to get involved in an activity around the park to highlight issues surrounding deforestation and destruction of the environment.

Adrian Harland Animal Director said: "We have decided to have a specific theme each month at the park.

"Visitors can become involved in the activities and trails and find out more about the animals here and our conservation work."

Every weekend in January visitors to Port Lympne will be able to take part in a trail which will lead them throughout the 600 acres of the park, picking up clues, solving riddles and learning facts about animal habitats.
