Kent Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision in Folkestone in which a woman has died.

The collision took place at around 4.45pm on Friday (30 December) in Coniston Road.

A gold coloured Fiat Punto is thought to have lost control and collided with parked silver coloured BMW.

The woman, who was a passenger of the Punto was pronounced dead at the scene and the male driver was taken to the William Harvey Hospital, having sustained minor injuries.

The collision is being investigated by the Kent Police Serious Collision Investigation Unit and officers are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to get in touch.
