Folkestone West representative on Kent County Council (KCC) and other Kent Lib Dems are delighted that their annual Christmas dress-down day at the council raised £588.62 for the Kent Fund for Children.

Over the last few years, over £7,000 has been raised from KCC staff and Councillors for this good cause through the Dress Down Day.

Lib Dem Group Leader Trudy Dean said: "Thank you to all Kent Council staff for both their generosity and hard work for all Kent residents in 2011, and best wishes for 2012."
