An amateur
photographer from Dover has racked up more success in the Year in the
Life of Canterbury photo project. |

Karol Steele from Buckland Avenue signed up for the Kent Creative Arts'
book and photo exhibition project in January and has been
making regular trips to the city to take picture of the events, the
every day lives and the special places to be found there.
Earlier in the year she had been told that some of her pictures had been
selected for the first three months of the project and has
now had another batch chosen for the second quarter
of the year, including one taken at KMFM Extra's launch of the new
Canterbury College radio station.
Karol was delighted to hear another of her photos will be
used in the Year in the Life of Canterbury 2011 calendar, which will go towards raising funds for the project's
exhibition to be held in Canterbury next July.

Karol said, "Canterbury is one of my favourite places in Kent, and I
have some very strong connections with the city. I was a student at the
university back in the eighties.
"I would love to be involved in a similar project in Dover for 2012, as
the town has so many wonderful places to visit and so much going on throughout
the year - and the Olympic Torch will be carried through the
town next year."
