The curtain went up for Dover Youth Theatre's six-day summer workshop which started on Saturday 13 August at Dover Boys Grammar School.

The theme this year is Film, Sport and the Performing Arts, and will feature songs, dances and scenes from shows and movies about sport and sporting achievements.

Workshops will culminate in a free performance in Dover Town Hall on Thursday 18 August at 7.30pm.

Leading the workshops will be Marie Kelly-Thomas and Michael Thomas of Dover Youth theatre, the 'We will Rock You' West End Musical Director, Grant Martin and 'The Boat that Rocked' filmmaker Steve Thomas.
