This evening ended a terrific season with many new members boosting our
membership to over 100, which means we are one of the largest club in
Kent! Although we hear of some other Camera Clubs folding or struggling
to keep up membership, we seem to be continually increasing in number –
mainly due to the digital technology and a strong and supportive
committee.
Many of the above winning photographers work, can be seen on our website
at
www.folkestonecameraclub.co.uk
All we have left now is the A.G.M. which will be held on 23rd May and
the new season commences early September, with a Welcome Evening for any
new members to come along and see what we do and also to welcome our
current members back to what looks like another great programme for the
2011/12 season.
Our meetings are held at the St. Georges Church, Audley Road, Folkestone
(on the corner of Shorncliffe Road, opposite West Station) on Mondays at
7.30 pm. New members are always welcome, if interested please phone Mrs
Jenny Barraclough (Press Officer) 01303 245399, or e mail :
