A new organisation has just been set up to help struggling small businesses
in Folkestone. |

Folkestone Independent Traders Association (FITA) is a not for profit
association aimed at promoting the independent small business and
service sector in and around Folkestone, Kent.
It is entirely controlled by its membership on a self-help basis and is
not affiliated to any other commercial or political organisation.
Publications include the Folkestone Shopper and eventually the online
Folkestone Shopper website.
Membership is free but donations, which will be used for FITA, are
welcome. Accounts will be published openly.
Membership is solely at the discretion of the existing membership
The first issue of Folkestone Shopper is being rushed out for Christmas
on Saturday 10th December 2011.
