The Town Mayor and Councillors are hoping for a big turnout at Hawkinge Council's Annual
Christmas Carol Concert on Sunday. |

|
The popular event, held in the Hawkinge Community Centre normally
attracts over 200 people.
Choirs from the Churchill and Hawkinge Primary schools will be singing
and South Kent Community Church will also be providing music and their
choir.
The service will be conducted by James Coombs and members of the
Church.
Town Councillors will be there helping serve the free
refreshments of mince pies, teas and soft drinks.
Residents at the
newly opened Hawkinge House care home have been invited to the concert by the Town Council.
The Christmas Carol Concert, which became too big for the Village Hall,
underwent a successful revamp last year when Community Centre boss Colin
Tearle took over the organising role.
The Concert at the Hawkinge Community Centre, Heron Forstal Avenue,
Hawkinge takes place on Sunday 4 December and begins at 2.30pm,
finishing around 3.45pm.
Admission is free and everyone is invited... the Town Mayor and Councillors look
forward to seeing you all.
