Headliners for each Comedy night are:

Ian Cognito is one of the best comics on the national circuit, a veteran who clearly knows what he’s doing as he spits his darkly humorous vitriol over an unsuspecting crowd. Outspoken, opinionated, and totally clued up, this man’s take on the world will have you convinced and convulsed (with laughter).

“Cognito’s indignant polemic is a bracing antidote to more amiable routines. When a comedian can transform rage into humour without diluting their passion, the result is always riveting. Share his inspired madness.” – William Cook, The Guardian

Diane Spencer has been performing live standup for 4 years. A storyteller with punchlines, Diane simultaneously delights and repulses her audience, allowing her charming onstage persona to bely her refreshingly honest, rude and wicked ideas.

“…deliciously dirty, raucously rude and delightfully intelligent talent…” – ThreeWeeks

Her humour zips from intelligent and sharp to downright silly in the blink of an eye as she delights audiences with recollections of her Nigerian background and life growing up in the East end.

“a natural talent” – Rory Bremner

One of the most original and exciting acts in comedy, noted for his ability to improvise whole routines on stage, Trevor Lock’s unique brand of intelligent stand up, mixing cleverly crafted wordplay with stream of consciousness extemporization has gained him a worldwide cult following.

‘Strangely charming and irresistible. Utterly improbable, absolutely entertaining’The Independent

For over a decade Dan’s twisted logic has been gladdening Stand-Up Comedy audiences across the UK and Ireland. He’s also performed his accessible but frequently childish surrealism in front of chubby perspiring ex-pats in Dubai and Oman, and had his grammar rectified by politer crowds in Germany and Holland.

“Very, very funny and great delivery. Had to concentrate to keep up with him. Well recommended”  Chortle
