Fire [1]: Fire crews fight football club pavilion blaze in Deal [2]

Around 30 firefighters are tackling a serious blaze at Deal Town football club this evening (6 October).


The fire is believed to have started around 5.00pm at a sports pavilion at St Leonard's Road ground in Deal.

Crews are using breathing apparatus to fight the blaze in the store room of the single-storey building.

A height vehicle has also been brought in to fight the fire.

Residents in the area have been asked to keep windows and doors shut due to the smoke being generated.

I was at the fire for three hours and would just like to say a big thanks to everyone who was on the site.

The fire is now under control but kfrs and kps will be there late tonight and until 3.00am the next day too.
