Event organiser Rachel Morley, Head of the Infant and Junior School at Dover College said: “This year’s summer like weather was welcomed by all: runners, teachers and spectators.
"With 19 schools participating, around 540 children, each of the four races featured well over 100 runners.
"We are proud to have offered this great sporting occasion to the local community for the last 10 years."
Years 3 and 4 girls
"With the continuing educational trend of encouraging young children to take more physical exercise, a Cross Country event like this provides them and their school with something to aim for.
Years 3 and 4 boys
"Even if the schools don‘t have sporting facilities, using school playgrounds for training has made this event a fast becoming tradition for many primary schools. This event was about bringing the community together ahead of the Olympics and for children to compete not only against each other but against their own personal bests,” she said.
