The
parents of Folkestone dancer who has been invited to compete in an
international competition in America are hoping to raise money for the
trip with a fundraising concert. |

Father, Andy
Parker said :"The costs involved in this are out of our reach so we have
arranged this variety night to help with the fundraising.
"FHODS have kindly let us use the Tower Theatre in Cheriton for the show
and we have had a high response of artists offering to take part. It
will be a good family night out with plenty of music, dancing, comedy
and magic."
10-year-old Adelaide has been dancing since she was 3 and over the last
7 years has had success on a regional, national and international level,
winning her first national title at the age of 6.
Andy said: "She was the youngest member of the National Baton Twirling
Association NBTA England Team at the European championships in 2010 and
has been asked to compete in the USA in February 2012."
