Regarding last week's story about the film being made around Folkestone... 'Feature film with international cast being shot in Folkestone [4]'

I have heard that if all goes well it may get a release date sometime in February 2012, but very much to be confirmed.

However before that, a film; partly made in Hawkinge and at Saltwood Castle; about writer and politician Alan Clarke's sojourn with famous actress Marilyn Monroe ; and called 'My Week with Marilyn'; is to be released in cinemas on November 18th 2011.

Let's hope the Silver Screen cinema in Folkestone shows this from that date. It may also be of interest to the local Classic Film Club, though would have to be during the Spring 2012 season.
