Karol Steele, who hails from Dover was in Whitstable on Thursday
shooting scenes for the movie short, Dawn, starring Keely Forsyth,
formerly of Coronation Street, Casualty and Emmerdale, Edward Hogg, who
was in the film Alfie with Jude Law, and Nick Barber who played Harry
Green in The Midsommer Murders.
Dawn is a psychological drama exploring the bond of triplets which is
broken at birth. Should the film prove to be a hit a full-length feature
version will be commissioned next year.

Karol was filmed at a village hall disco dance in St Peter's Church Hall
in Cromwell Road, Whitstable.
She said, "I spent the day doing The Bus Stop, The Saturday Night Fever
and The Hustle - dances we'd had only been given to learn the night
before. I must have been good at them because at one point I was asked
to teach Nick Barber The Hustle; he was a very quick learner as we then
filmed the scene five minutes later."
The film, which was shot at various location in Whitstable and Tankerton
is directed by Stephanie Zari and produced by Isabella Battiston.
