Film [1]: Dover youngsters' film to be premiered on the Big Screen [2]

The premiere of the Dover Youth Theatre film made during the summer is to be premiered on the Big Screen in Dover Market Square on Saturday.


Dave Battcock of the BBC has confirmed the date of first showing of the movie which was made during the theatre group's summer workshop, Film, Sport and the Performing Arts.

 

It will be shown on Saturday 15th October at 2pm and then will play throughout the autumn on a rolling programme .

The 30 talented youngsters from the Dover district made the film over five days in August with the help of professional film maker Steve Thomas, who lists amongst his credits the acclaimed movie 'The Boat That Rocked', which told the story of the Government's resolved to shut down pirate radio stations due to their commercialism and low morals during the 1960s.
