We were very grateful also to the local W.I. members who struggled
in to sing Carols (whilst collecting for Demelza House), which warmed us
with a feel of the festive spirit.
The customer base, although good
considering the state of the roads and pavements, was not as busy as in
past years, but those who made it certainly enjoyed themselves Santa and
his Elves also made their appearance for the children, and the mulled
wine went down very well in refreshments!
We would like to take this opportunity to wish all our customers a Very
Happy and Healthy New Year.

The Market is held every Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. in the
Village Hall where a wide variety of locally produced products include:-
Eggs, Meat, Fish, Fruit, Vegetables, Preserves, Local Honey, Ice Cream,
Cakes, Bread, Pastries, Desserts, Delicatessen, Wine, Mauritian and
Russian Specialities, Plants, Eco Friendly products and a few Crafts.
We are pleased to announce that fresh milk is now available and we also
have two new stalls selling desserts and family cakes, so do please come
along and support our local producers.
Remember too, the products are freshly produced, (you can even talk to
the producer personally) and good quality at a fair price. They haven’t
been on the supermarket shelves, and they are local which is saving our
carbon footprint.
In 2010 our Farmers Market has raised over £6,000 for the village hall
funds, thank you everyone for your continued support
We shall be celebrating our 8th Anniversary in April!
