After attending the premiere of the film short 'Sweet Dreams are Made of
Cheese' this Friday, in which the duo have minor speaking roles as Sir
Lancelot and The Police Psychologist, the pair will be taking part in a
number of exciting film and theatre projects over the next two months.
Ben will be taking on several roles in a new comedy by The Unfinished
Business theatre company called The Best Panto Ever on 18 July.
The panto is part of The Big Lunch event at The Westgate Hall in Canterbury,
which will also include a picnic, children's entertainment, live music,
dancing, arts and crafts stalls, and a drumming workshop.
In the Best Panto Ever, Ben stars as Jack from Jack and The Beanstalk, who is forced
to take on the role of Grumpy the Dwarf as well when another cast member
fails to turn up ... but it doesn't stop there! The Big Lunch starts at
12 pm outside the Westgate Hall and continues, inside and out until 6
pm.
A week later both Ben and Karol will be in Tyler Hill taking part in the
final day's filming of Kangareel's latest film production, Marty's
Project. Karol will be reprising her second role in the film, that of
Kaz, The Future Kids make-up artiste, while Ben will be playing the
children's TV presenter Benj, interviewing The Future Kids stars on the
red carpet film premiere.
August will see Ben and Karol working together again on KETV's newest
film project, The History Boy - the first in a series of six educational
short films about a time-travelling boy who is sent back to the most
exciting moments in English history. In the first episode, Saving The
Queen, Ben and Karol will be reprising their Elizabethan servant roles
from The Sea Shall Have Them.
Karol said, "Both Ben and I like keeping busy, and this summer it will
be especially good for Ben, as it will take his mind off the long wait
for his AS Level results in Drama, English and Media Studies." |
