We have also had success at two recent ‘Battles’, one with Sittingbourne
Photographic Society and the other with Rye Camera Club, where we won on
both occasions. We now look forward to the next one, there’s got to be a
3rd!
We also hosted a very successful evening with Charlie Waite a nationally
renowned photographer, at the Tower Theatre, where about 150
photographers enjoyed the lecture and photographs shown. Alongside this
event our annual exhibition was held and judged to find the best Print
of the season. The winner, receiving the Presidents Cup was Keith
Radford with his print ‘Cello Player’.
After the Easter Break, on 12th April, the final Print and Monochrome
Digital Image Competitions of the season will be held, followed by, on
19th , the St. Aubyn Cup Competition for Landscape Prints and the Peter
Heritage Cup set subject, this year being ‘Pairs’.
The Annual Kent County Photographic Association Annual Print Exhibition
will be held from 24th April to 27th Mary at the Sessions House County
Hall, Maidstone. Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm FREE ADMISSION
This is an exhibition worth seeing with prints having been accepted from
many Kent Camera Clubs. We are pleased to say that some of our members
have had their prints accepted and will be on show. See their website

Our meetings are held at the St Georges Church, Audley Road, (on the
corner of Shorncliffe Road opposite West Station) Folkestone on Mondays
