Police investigating an assault in Dover at the weekend are appealing for witnesses.

A 33-year-old man was allegedly punched and kicked to the ground outside the Priory Hotel opposite Dover Priory railway station at some time between 8.30 pm on Saturday (6 February) and 1.00 am on Sunday (7 February).

A 35-year-old man has been arrested and released on bail while officers make further enquiries.
