Re: Local pub could have Britain's next top chef



Reads like Charlie is a Chef with great talent, but after reading the article I can't help thinking that you will need to pick up some chips on the way home or have a sandwich when you get in.

Good luck Charlie, but don't forget your northern roots and include some hearty meals too - some of us are happy to leave with an empty wallet providing we have a full belly.

To be fair the Crisp pig’s trotter...ham hock, cauliflower piccalilli & fried quail eggs referred to by Charlie as 'bacon and eggs' is only a starter.. see the Marquis menus
