Minutes of the meeting held on 15 September 2010 were submitted,
approved as a correct record and signed by the Chairman.

The Clerk circulated the schedule of payments to be made following the
meeting. A copy of the schedule is attached as Appendix 1.

872. PROJECTS UPDATE 19
Projects update number 19 was presented by the Clerk, a copy is
attached. The update included full details of the progress of the
Football Pavilion with specific reference to the issue of notices under
the Dog Control Order of 2006.

873. PLANNING MATTERS
The minutes of the meeting of the Planning and Development Committee of
13 September 2010 listing the planning applications received since the
last meeting of the Council were presented giving details of the
responses for endorsement, sent to the District Council by the Planning
and Development Committee.

874. ARRANGEMENTS FOR REMEMBRANCE DAY 3 AND 14 NOVEMBER 2010
The Clerk circulated a letter from the Royal British Legion which gave
details of a Remembrance Service to be held at the Memorial in Hawkinge
Cemetery on Wednesday 3 November 2010 which would also be attended by
local schools. The Chairman and Vice-Chairman will attend and lay a
wreath on behalf of the Parish Council.
On Sunday 14 November 2010 there will be a Remembrance Service at the
War Memorial at the Leisuredrome at 10.00am, followed by a Remembrance
Service at St Luke’s Church at 10.30am. This will then be followed by a
short service at St Peter’s Church Swingfield at noon, where the
Chairman and Vice-Chairman will lay wreaths on behalf of the Parish
Council.
All Councillors are welcome to attend these Services.

875. CORRESPONDENCE
Correspondence was reported as follows:
i. Letter from Kent Highways outlining road closure at Gibraltar Lane,

Hawkinge Community Office.
876. EXCLUSION OF THE PUBLIC

877. ICT PROVISION – EVALUATION OF TENDER REPORT
REPORT: On 30th September 2010, minute 159, the Finance and General
Purposes Committee considered Confidential REPORT FC/10/03 which
detailed the results of the tenders for the provision of ICT at the
Parish Council Offices.
