Mrs
Lizabeth Boud was our judge for our last competition of the 2008/2009
season. She judged two competitions for us, with the skill of a very
experienced photographer. |
|
The Peter Heritage Cup, which is a different set
subject each year, and this years was Round and Round. The subject
provoked lots of ideas and imagination and we had a record number of
entries with over 60 submitted. Michael Chalk was the overall winner,
with 10 runners up. Next years subject will be ‘Pairs’, and we hope to
have many ideas entered again.
The other competition was the St. Aubyn Cup which is for Landscape
Prints, again we had a very good entry and the winner of the trophy was
Frank Barraclough with a landscape of Glencoe, Scotland.
The following Monday we had our A.G.M. and on Friday our Annual Dinner
and Awards night will be held, where the members will receive their
trophies for the various competitions they have entered this season.
This ends our very successful 2008/2009 season and we begin the new
season for 2009/2010 on 7th September.
Visit our web site at
www.folkestonecameraclub.co.uk where you can
