 Kent Police are asking members of the public and in
particular tradesmen, to be aware that Ford transit vans are being targeted in
the South Kent policing area |
Vehicles are being broken into and tools are being stolen.
Owners are asked to be extra vigilant and report any suspicious activity to
police.
Wherever possible, park vehicles in a secure location.
If it is not possible to park in a secure location, take
necessary crime prevention measures, such as parking so that rear doors are not
accessible, under lights and/or where there is CCTV available.
Purchase vehicle alarms, and do not leave any items of value
including sat navs and tools within them.
