Our 1st Print competition of the season, held recently, was judged by Mr Richard Walton FRPS MPAGB EFIAP BPE3. |
Richard is a Premier Judge, and a very experienced photographer. With over
80 images to judge, he still managed his usual wit and

Page then went on to show images of Scotland and how he can
improve them in Photoshop. Both gave us a very good evening
with many thoughts to inspire us. This is a competition between the clubs where images and prints are judged, in this case by Sue Flood DPAGB . Sue did a grand job by judging us the winners! The results were Digital Images - Gateway 251 Folkestone 264, Prints - Gateway 254 Folkestone 259, Total Gateway 505 Folkestone 523. We hope for a return match next season. In addition to our weekly meetings, we have a Practical
Evening once a month where members can practice with the
studio lighting. gain assistance from the experienced
members and practice with Photoshop. We also have separate
evenings for an audio visual workshop. In addition we meet
occasionally for a ‘mini outing’ to various local venues to
