Folkestone Camera Club were proud to host the 18th Kent County
Photographic Associations’ Annual Audio Visual Competition for 2009,
recently, at the Tower Theatre, Shorncliffe. |

The Kent County Photographic Association Audio Visual Competition 2009
competition is open to all members of clubs affiliated to the Kent
County Photographic Association and a total of over 46 entries were
received from 30 entrants of which 30 sequences were shown, to an
audience of over 100.
Mr G. Kitiyakara LRPS and Mr M. Kirsting two of the country's leading
Audio Visual experts, judged the entries.
The winners were:-

Mrs Brigita Amey, President of the K.C.P.A. presented the prizes.
A good result for Folkestone Camera Club as first and second plus best
Photography winners were all our own members!
We would like to thank Folkestone Town Council for kindly donating the
trophy for this Digital competition, and also for sponsoring the event,
and to Halksworth Wheeler for the loan of the audio equipment. The
screen was also kindly on loan from the K.C.P.A.

We are hosting an evening of Photography presented by Mr Charlie Waite,
famour Landscape Photographer and author of many books. on Saturday
27th, March at the Tower Theatre, Shorncliffe to include an Exhibition of Prints
