Police have arrested a man after a woman in her 20s died from stab wounds on Romney Marsh.

Officers were called to a property in Greatstone, near New Romney shortly after 10.00pm today (20 November).

The woman was attended by paramedics for her injuries but was pronounced dead at the scene.

A local man in his 40s has been arrested and is in Police custody.

Detectives carried out forensic examinations at the property.
