Police have launched a crackdown on the theft of costly heavy machinery
from farms and building sites across the county. |

The offensive is aimed at gangs who steal equipment such as
forklift trucks and cement mixers which can cost up to £300,000.
Officers will visit sites to offer advice on disabling machinery and
using security devices. |
