Archbishop
of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams has this week announced the successor
to Rt Rev Dr Stephen Venner as the Bishop of Dover who is leaving in
November to become the new Bishop to the Forces.
The Rt Rev Trevor
Willmott was confirmed as the new
Bishop of Dover and Bishop in Canterbury
by Dr Williams on Monday (5 October)
Bishop of Basingstoke since 2002, he
will take up the post in February 2010.
