After
another frustrating day for people logging on for free tickets for Kent
Big Day Out, Visit Kent has hurriedly brought in a new 'fairer' system.
Damian
Collins, Conservative parliamentary candidate for Folkestone and Hythe,
has been invited to join a new group to advise Visit Kent on attracting
new visitors to the county and promoting tourism.

Representatives
of tourism, environmental and educational organisations and local
authorities on both sides of the Channel are holding a three-day meeting starting today
(January 26-28) to discuss new initiatives to benefit the Romney Marsh.
