Village Green status for Sandgate escarpment moves a step nearer

Local residents, who are pressing to have the Sandgate Escarpment registered as a Village Green, are now being asked for their views by Kent County Council (KCC).

Kent County Council demand Government handover part of proposed £23milion foreign lorry charge

Kent County Council (KCC) is planning to submit a "robust case" calling on the Government pay them some of its proposed £10-a-day charge on foreign lorry drivers.
