Ambassador leaves his mark at Folkestone recreation ground

Dr. Suresh Chandra Chalise visited the recreation ground in Stanley Road, Folkestone on Saturday where he presented a park bench funded by the Nepalese Embassy to the local people as a symbol of friendship.

Public involvement study into Kent library services reveals over 18,000 books are borrowed every day

In one of the most detailed studies ever into Kent’s libraries it reveals18,424 books are borrowed each day, 556 reading groups were supported by KCC Libraries and Archives and volunteers contributed 40,425 hours of their time to support Libraries and library customers.
