A National Trust Plant Fair at the Dover Langdon Cliffs Visitor Centre (12 - 13 May) raised much needed cash for conservation work and promoted water saving gardening to protect the environment.

Residents in Hawkinge who don't mind a bit of hard work and like getting fresh fruit and veg are being invited to sign up for a local allotment plot.
