Number plate recognition operation seizes vehicles in Shepway, Dover and Ashford

Officers from Kent Police's automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) team have helped seize 32 vehicles during an operation  across South Kent, including Ashford, Shepway and Dover District.

Graffiti criminal sentenced to 15 months

A graffiti criminal who pleaded guilty to causing more than £500,000 damage to trains, buildings, road signs, bus shelters and other structures in Folkestone and other parts of Kent has been sentenced to 15 months in a Young Offenders' Institution.

Man jailed for road rage gun attack on driver near Dover

£30 fine sees fewer Hawkinge motorists parking on footpaths as police continue to tackle village problem

Although there has been a reduction in the number of vehicles parking on footpaths in Hawkinge, warning notices will continue to be issued to people flouting the law says Neighbourhood Officer PC Trevor Moody.
