Eurotunnel,
the company that manages the Channel Tunnel, turned in a slight profit
last year despite the effects of the global economic crisis and a fire,
it announced today (9 March).
Dover
District Council is teeing up for next year’s Open Golf Championship at
Sandwich by topping up their database of available accommodation in the
area. 

Hundreds
of jobs have been created by three new supermarkets, including one at
Charlton Green in Dover, which opens today (25 January).
The
new chairman of the Hythe Chamber of Commerce and Tourism (HCCT) has
invited support from businesses outside the High Street area and called
for more interest in its activities by the town council.
BHS
in the flagship Bouverie Place Shopping Centre in Folkestone is to
close.
