Police are appealing for witnesses following a reported serious sexual assault in Cheriton Park, Folkestone on Saturday night (9 July).

Officers want to speak to anyone who may have seen a black man walking in the park with two young white women between 22:45pm and 23:30pm.

Police are especially keen to trace two men who offered to assist the distressed females in Stanley Road, following the incident.
