Don't get ripped off paying for a free European Health Insurance Card

Kent Trading Standards has received reports of businesses advertising the European Health Insurance Card for £9.99 to £19.99.


The form, EHIC, formally known as the E111 allows you to access state-provided healthcare in all European Economic Area (EEA) countries and Switzerland at a reduced cost or sometimes free of charge.

 

Applying for a European Health Insurance Card is FREE with the NHS and it is valid for up to 5 years..

The businesses which are selling the cards are not affiliated with the NHS or any other government body say Trading Standards
