Shepway Council Chairman Cllr Susan Carey and Cllr David Godfrey, with the Town Mayors of Folkestone and Hythe attended the annual St George's Day Parade of  the District's Cubs and Scouts on Sunday (18 April)

The event, which this year was held in Hawkinge was blessed with bright sunshine as around 150 scouts, with flags and banners held aloft, snaked across The Green in front of the Hawkinge Community Centre.

Cubs and Scouts with many parents from across the Shepway area including those from Hawkinge took part in the parade.
