Consider the wider picture when criticising the local press

Have your say!

Dear Editor,
Re: Shame about the Herald's non-reporting of Leas Lift 125th Anniversary
I  buy both the Herald and Express (I'm retired and have to fill my days with something!) and I actually believe the reverse to be true.

My wife and I often read stories in the Herald that are either not in the Express at all or are in the Express a week later (SDC car parking charges, the dead Folkestone whale, shops that are opening/closing, etc).

And I get irritated every week when I see David Plumstead moaning about something in the Express.

But I think we need to be fair. Each paper can't be expected to get everything every week. We should not be so negative and should support our local media!

Yours

Arthur
