'Befuddled' former Government Minister spotted in Sainsbury's Park Farm car park

News

Spotted yesterday in the Sainsbury's car park Park Farm, Folkestone, was the former housing and planning minister Margaret Beckett, together with, it was assumed, her husband.

According to a witness they were both looking fairly 'befuddled' as they scoured the car park searching in vain for their vehicle.

Could they be looking for a caravan?

If they were, then the caravanning couple were out of luck. No caravans were spotted although there were two motorhomes to which the Becketts paid scant attention.

It left our political pair perplexed  as our reader, Finkle chuckled: " Wonder what happened ? Car/Caravan repossessed after all the claims she made "on expenses" ?

"Oh dear, how sad, never mind ! She looked less condescending, her and hubby shielding their eyes from the sun.

"Finkle and 'She Who Must Be Obeyed' could hardly contain our mirth.

"How the mighty are humbled and not a Special Branch Officer in sight...a trip to Halfords to get a bicycle or two perhaps?" Finkle thought.
