As a warm-up for this Easter weekend's Magical Faery Festival in Canterbury, three faeries invaded the city on Saturday to promote the event.

Festival organiser, Matthew Callow,  artist Lindsay Goodbun and actress Karol Steele were handing out leaflets to the Saturday afternoon shoppers and posing for photos with the tourists.

This year's festival, the fourth to be held in the city, will for the first time be held over 4 days from 2 to 5 April, and include the first ever Faery Ball at the ABode Hotel on Friday, a parade through Canterbury from the Westgate Hall at 10am on Saturday, and talks, workshops and fairy craft stalls in the Westgate Hall all Easter weekend.

Tickets for the festival cost £6 for adults, £4 for Senior Citizens and £3 for children and are available on the door at the Westgate Hall. For more information log onto http://www.magicalfestivals.co.uk/.
