Man killed in Romney Marsh crash

A collision involving a car and a lorry on the A2070 near Snave yesterday morning (2 March) has claimed the life of a driver from Ashford.

Police reported that a collision occurred between a DAF lorry travelling towards Ashford and a Renault Scenic car heading towards Brenzett.

The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene.

The lorry driver from Dartford, was taken to the William Harvey hospital in Ashford with non-life threatening injuries.
