What stirs at the bottom of your garden? Have you seen the flutter of tiny wings? Have you sought treasure? Have you wondered who might wear Bluebells and Buttercups? Do you believe in Magic?

The UK’s largest Faerie event is returning to the heart of Canterbury City this Easter for its 3rd year.

The Magical Faerie Festival 2010, celebrates Spring, childhood, nature and all that is magical.

Highly acclaimed inspirational musicians and performers are scheduled to amuse, entertain and uplift all who attend this unique family friendly 3 day extravaganza which includes a stunning Faerie Ball and colourful High Street Parade

After The Faerie Ball on Good Friday the weekend's events will kick off at 10am on Saturday morning outside the Westgate Hall with a captivating parade consisting of Giants, Drummers, Faerie Dancers, Elves and a real life Viking! Led by the Chief Faerie, the UK’s exclusive Faerie Parade will take a route that leads through one of England’s oldest and most majestic cities.

Our 2010 Guests of Honour are Priscilla Hernandez (Spain), Laurel Airica (U.S) and hauntingly memorable Tim Wheater (UK). Many other dancers and musicians will also be in attendance throughout this enchanting weekend.

Over 20 artists will be exhibiting including the highly acclaimed Linda Ravenscroft, Ed Org and 2010 Festival artist Judy Mastrangelo, who will be making her debut visit to the UK.

Enjoy browsing the mystical market of over 70 stalls containing a huge array of pixie goodies including many handmade items, wings, wands, clothing, crystals and much more! Not forgetting the Faerie face painters, readers and therapists exhibiting throughout the weekend.

If at any point you feel peckish visit Toad and Lara our Festival caterers who will be running the Toadstool Café providing traditional fayre throughout the day.

The event is showcasing The Magical Times Magazine - a mystical publication featuring faerie, folklore and other earth based articles - www.themagicaltimes.com.
