Dover pensioner to blast wife's ashes into space

An 81-year-old Dover man has arranged to have his wife's ashes fired into space aboard an American rocket.



According to Mirror.co.uk, widower Godfrey Bates will be fulfilling his wife Audrey's dying wish.

Audrey who was 75, was desperate to go to the moon and mad about space travel.

Godfrey has arranged for some of her ashes to be blasted into space aboard a rocket fired from New Mexico in May.
