Former beauty queen and model, Siobhan Hustler has married cricket star, and old Harvey Grammar School pupil, Robert Green at Lydd on Saturday (20 March)

The wedding took place in the town's All Saints Church - known as 'The Cathedral in the Marsh' and was followed by a reception at The Channel Suite at Folketone's Leas Cliff Hall.

In a break with tradition, 24-year old Siobhan was accompanied down the aisle by her grandmother, Pauline Hustler, and mother, Mary-Ellen Rich (nee Miles, a former Miss Hythe), as Siobhan's father, Barry Hustler, a well-known member of the Marsh Bikers Community, died when Siobhan was a small child.

Former Astor College student, Siobhan was also attended by six bridesmaids, including her sister Jade Davis and former Dover and Kent Princess Louise Welton (nee Graham).

During the service, talented local  singer Esther Howgill, a recent winner of the Bouverie Place Talent Show, sang two songs for the congregation while the register was being signed.

Siobhan was a successful beauty queen and model from 2003 to 2008, winning such titles as Miss Cheriton, Miss Folkestone, Miss Garden of England, Miss News of the World, Miss EuroRegion Congeniality, Kent Princess, EuroRegion Princess, Miss Debutante, UK Model of the Year, Miss Kent British Isles, and was a finalist in the Miss England contest in 2007.

Siobhan was also an actress, starring as Nelly Forbush in South Pacific with Astor College in England and Croatia, was a member of Dover's Blackfish Academy from 2005 to 2006, and can be seen in the hit films The Other Boleyn Girl and Is There Anybody There?

Robert is a graduate from the University of Kent, and every summer can be seen playing for the Etchinghill Cricket Club; his two Best Men and six Groomsmen were his teammates from the club.

They have a son, Isaac, born last August. The happy couple will be honeymooning in Bali.
