81-year-old in hospital after New Romney car smash

An 81-year-old woman has been taken to hospital and part of the A259 between Dymchurch and New Romney was closed after a two vehicle crash yesterday (1 March).



The woman, who is reported as having serious injuries was taken to the William Harvey in Ashford.

It is understood that two dogs were treated by a vet after suffering from shock.

Officers are investigating the accident and witnesses are asked to contact Kent Police.
