Remembrance Line Supporter and Campaigner
It may have been a year since the last train ran into and out of Folkestone Harbour station and it may seem that securing the line as a heritage line would not happen but we are close, and working hard to ensure our plans will come to fruition.

I would like to thank all supporters of the association and harbour area. We need your continued support if we are to succeed.

The Remembrance Line Committee and supporters have been busy with a Poster distribution around local businesses and public notice boards and door to door leaflet drops in Folkestone.

A motion has also been delivered to Shepway District Council to support re-establishment of the ferry services, and on the 23 March a presentation of the plans will be made to Folkestone Town Council.

The Remembrance Line Association represents a wide range of views and interests – railways, ferries, heritage, history, footfall to businesses – and so on.

There are various elements of what remains of the original station and harbour that are important to us.

We are in favour of regenerating the town. It needs to happen to increase tourism, provide jobs and remove the eyesores.

Please email us if you would like to contact Mr Wiffen
