Minutes of a meeting of Hawkinge Parish Council
Held at: Hawkinge Community Centre
Date: 13 January 2010
 


Present: Councillor D Callahan (Chairman), Councillors J Heasman, T Hutt, Mrs P Meloy and T Ollerenshaw.

Apologies for Absence Councillors Ms J Brisley and G Hodgson, (unwell), N Hilditch, (work.) C D Tearle (Annual Leave) All were accepted.
Officer Present: Mrs Tina Wiles (Clerk)

There were two questions from the public. These are detailed on the schedule to these minutes.

800. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

There were no declarations of interest.

801. MINUTES

Minutes of the meeting held on 16 December 2009 were submitted, approved as a correct record and signed by the Chairman.

802. FINANCIAL MATTERS

The Clerk circulated the schedule of payments to be made following the meeting. A copy of the schedule is attached as Appendix 1.

RESOLVED: To approve the schedule of payments attached at Appendix A.

803. PROVISION OF COMMUNITY FACILITIES UPDATE NUMBER 11

Projects update number 11 was presented by the Clerk and a copy is attached to these minutes.

RESOLVED::

1. To receive and note Update number 11.

804. PLANNING MATTERS

The minutes of the meetings of the Planning and Development Committees of 11 January 2010, listing the planning applications received since the last meeting of the Council were circulated with the agenda, giving details of the responses for endorsement, sent to the District Council by the Planning and Development Committee.

RESOLVED: To receive and adopt the minutes of the Planning and Development Committees of 11 January 2010.

805. CORRESPONDENCE

The following item of correspondence was reported at the meeting.

i. Report of the Community Warden

ii. Briefing note from Kent County Council on the clearance of ice and snoww

iii. Letter of thanks from Hawkinge Primary School for the recent donation

iv. Letter and cheque from the Village Hall Management Committee in respect of the repairs to the asbestos.
